IMS GA200NT Nanotech Precision Shower Screen Shower Strainer, Gaggia Compatible IMS offers a high-quality coating using quartz nanotechnology, Nanoquartz coating, for shower discs with integrated and reinforced membranes to improve the flow process. It is a high-quality Competition shower screen with an innovative and very thin membrane to achieve the ideal distribution of water in the coffee in the portafilter. This very thin membrane keeps the batch clean and slows the water flow for a better and more consistent extraction. It is produced as a seamless, one-piece shower curtain consisting of a special integrated membrane placed inside the support body and offering 200 micron filtering capacity. The advantage of this technology is the hydro-propellant effect – water goes down in a shower of small drops evenly distributed over the entire surface of the shower head, evenly saturating the coffee. The coating facilitates the removal of used coffee capsules and also facilitates cleaning, making the antibacterial nature of the surfaces extremely effective.
